World Of Warcraft console options and SPF?

I have seen many videos on YouTube for the / console commands in WoW and making a kind Archive WoW.BAT and such. Does that help increase your fps, or just your maul fps by increasing the load chart. My computer is not shit, but his No. 2 draft Thurs thousnd dollars. I have 3 GB of RAM, a 2.4 GHz dual core AMD proc and a GeForce 6400 NVIDIA nForce integrated. I looked at these options to see if doing one of them could help me also to buy the things new comp. Anyone who has tried one of these things? If you have not seen go to YouTube and search for "World of Warcraft Max FPS And someone know when you play a party if you open Task Mgr (Ctrl Alt Del) and set the game high priority, only works on XP? or you can run on Vista too?
